Beat Broker is a skilled and energetic Melbourne based operation that provides publicity assistance and specialist services to music artists, labels, distributors, event promoters and tour agents who are targeting the 18 - 35 year old Australian market. With over six years experience at handling publicity for releases, tours and special events, plus 9 years within the music industry, Beat Broker is equipped with the right skills, experience and network to achieve great exposure across radio, print, TV and the web.
 
The Challenge
Being a music promoter, Beat Broker needed a website that was both 'slick' yet functional. The ability to maintain their own content was also a high priority of the Beat Broker website. As Beat Broker was a new startup, the identity was developed alongside the website by studio equator, Blank Motion's graphic design partner. A mailing list solution was also required.
 
The Solution
A content management system was a must for this project. Blank Motion's control.Admin CMS was utilized to manage the various dynamic sections of this website including: a photo gallery, news management, links, folio of projects and media resources. A number of small flash animations were also developed to help strengthen the visual appeal of the website. A mailing list manager was implemented to allow Beat Broker to send promotional material and newsletters to their large subscriber database. To assist Beat Broker in maintaining a standard in their newsletters, a newsletter generator was developed to properly format their content.
